Tri-tip roasts are a west coast favorite. LeftCoast Tri-tip are tender and somewhat marbled so they stand up well to the dry heat of a barbecue grill (set on low!) making it a go-to backyard party “steak.”
The classic ‘left coast’ roast (discovered to be a great cut for roasting by a butcher in Santa Maria, CA), the LeftCoast Tri-tip roasts are a summer barbecue favorite for our customers. They can also be roasted in the oven. Because of their triangular shape, cooking them medium-rare in the center results in medium to medium-well at the small end. Perfect to meet the preferences of any party guest.
Takes marinade well, but not necessary as it is well-marbled.
